How to add yourself as the owner in Discord server

 In this post, I will show you how to add yourself as the owner in your own server on Discord, it is very simple and easy quick, here's how to do it:

  • Go to your server and click down arrow icon that shown in the up-left corner
  • Click "Server Settings" and click "Roles"
  • Click "Create Role" and enter your role name (in the meantime, you can change a color by clicking "Custom Color" and it will shows that your text name color is changed, if you don't, you can click the "Default" that shows of a light blue)
  • Click "Manage Members", and click "Add Members"
  • Search your username and click it that shows of checkmark (if you have a friend and wants him/her to be both owner server, find your friend and add him/her)
  • Go to "Display" and click "Display role members separately from online members", however, when clicking it, it will shows of the text "OWNER" as you are a owner of your server, to see how does it look like, click "View Server As Role"
After finishing this, you can add more roles such as bots, people, moderators, etc.
