How to fix "Unable to play video" on android

 Many users on android had to watch the video, but it can't. When opening, the message appear and saying "Unable to play video". The reason why does the video not opening is because of a unsupported file, such as AVI. The solution either to open the video is to install VLC. Here's how:

  • Go to the Google Play Store and search "VLC for Android"
  • Install VLC
  • Once you installed, open it
  • Make sure that VLC requires you to access media and folder. However, VLC can scan any videos that you downloaded
  • Find the video from your folder that have a AVI file
  • Open the AVI file with VLC and test if it works
