How to install and play a DOS game in DOSBox

Before you start the tutorial. I wanted to ask you that I have lost 10k subscribers on YouTube for some reason.

Okay, today, I will show you how to run a game on DOSBox. DOSBox is a DOS emulator created with SDL (Simple Directmedia Library).

Step 1: Downloading DOSBox

DOSBox is free and open-source. Download it here and then install it.

Step 2: Creating a game folder

Create a game folder in any hard drive and name it (for me, I named my folder, DOSbox).

Step 3: Downloading a DOS games and putting it on the game folder

You have to download any DOS games on Abandonware or Gamesnostalgia.com or other websites. For example, I downloaded Batman: The Movie, which is an action game made by Ocean Software on 1989. After the download, put the DOS game on the game folder directory.

Step 4: Launching DOSBox and mounting the game folder

Open DOSBox and type "mount c c:\dos\yourgame" and then type "c:" (which will change the z: to c:)

Step 5: Typing dir and entering exe file name, then playing a game

Type dir and then enter the exe file name and play a game!

That's all folks. Enjoy!
